Automated Acuity Measurement System For Hospital Eye Departments

Acuity Master is a semi-automated system for measuring LogMAR Acuity. The operator has to simply record if the patient correctly identifies letters on the screen. Letter size is varied following an algorithm developed by Thomson Software until LogMAR acuity is determined. The software can store the results in it own database or link to external databases.
