Upon receipt of the award the statement was made, as below:

“The introduction of this innovative device provides the diagnosis of HP (Helicobacter Pylori) and other neoplastic risk factors in real time during gastroscopy. Real time allows less invasive procedures: it negates the requirement for biopsies and it reduces the procedure time, benefiting the patient, with the added bonus of reduction in cost to the hospital ”.

Endofaster is working with Tallaght University Hospital in order to carry out research on 44 patients and subsequently Prof Mc Namera and her team will write a scientific paper, to be published early next year .HSL are also commencing 2 live demos over the coming weeks/months.
