]]> Jordanstown is the largest of Ulster’s campuses, located just seven miles north of Belfast. The campus has a strong profile in computing, built environment, Business, Engineering, Social sciences, Diagnostic and Imaging degree, communication and academic disciplines relating to the science and coaching of sport.

Dr John Cathcart commented

“Emily Garland (Seen in the picture ) is a 1st year student on the undergraduate course BSc Diagnostic Radiography and Imaging, based at Ulster University on the Jordanstown campus. This is new equipment for our practical training suite that is used for all 3 years of training at various stages in each year.

The course is place within the School of Health Sciences in the Faculty of Life and Health Sciences. It is the sole provider of Diagnostic radiography training in Northern Ireland, places are commissioned by the Department of Health Northern Ireland. Presently we take in 58 students a year for the 3-year course.

We are delighted with the new Shimadzu Radspeed room from Hospital Services Ltd. It is user friendly, easy to move and perfect for teaching our students.”
