This award recognises the groundbreaking work behind the Brevera® system, which has revolutionised breast biopsy procedures across all HSE-funded breast centres in Ireland. By combining real-time imaging with tissue acquisition, the system enhances accuracy, shortens procedure times, and significantly improves patient comfort.
