Our team recently had the opportunity to attend the EAU 2026 Congress in London, where we joined thousands of clinicians, researchers, and industry partners from across the world. As one of the most influential events in the urology calendar, it provided a valuable space to step back, take stock of where the field is heading, and, most importantly, spend time with many of our trusted partners.

One of the most striking aspects of the congress was the pace of innovation across every area of urology. From conversations on the exhibition floor to insights shared during scientific sessions, there was a clear sense that the field is moving steadily toward more precise, patient-centred care. In particular, developments continued refinement and evolution of endourology and urolithiasis care. Alongside this, imaging and diagnostics continue to evolve at an impressive rate. New technologies are enabling earlier and more accurate detection of disease, which in turn supports more personalised treatment decisions. It was encouraging to see how these innovations are no longer theoretical but increasingly being integrated into clinical practice.

Minimally invasive and image-guided therapies were another consistent theme throughout the event. Live and recorded procedural sessions highlighted how far techniques have progressed, with a strong focus on precision, recovery times, and overall patient experience. The shift toward less invasive approaches is clearly not just a trend, but a fundamental change in how urological care is delivered.

Beyond the science and technology, what made the experience particularly valuable for us was the opportunity to connect face-to-face with our urology partners. These conversations gave us a deeper understanding of the challenges clinicians are facing in real-world settings, as well as the opportunities to work together more closely. There is something uniquely powerful about being able to exchange ideas in person, and events like EAU continue to play a vital role in strengthening those relationships.

Leaving London, there was a strong sense that urology is entering an exciting phase, one defined by greater precision, better use of data, and closer collaboration across the healthcare ecosystem. The insights we gained and the discussions we had will directly inform how we continue to support our customers moving forward.

Overall, our time at EAU 2026 was both energising and thought-provoking. It reinforced the importance of staying connected to the wider urology community and remaining engaged with the innovations that are shaping the future of patient care.
